The Saturne collection is named after the rings of Saturn, the source of inspiration for its design. All its pieces are surrounded by a horizontal ring. Saturn is the heir to the aesthetics of the 1930s with clean, strong lines, creating a fairly radical, geometric design giving a real personality to the holloware pieces. It is also freely inspired by the American bars of Montparnasse in the 1930s, with a focus on mixology, cocktail and champagne service: shaker, martini glass, champagne bucket. It dresses the most elegant bars and sublimates the moments of tasting.
Since 1867, Ercuis has produced fine silverware used in embassies, yachts, and luxury hotels around the world. Founded by a French priest, Adrien Céleste Pillon, Ercuis originally created silver items for use in church services. The factory quickly branched out into dinnerware and silverware for royal houses as well. Today, Ercuis carries on the tradition through the works of craftsmen who care about quality, detail and passion. At 63 microns, the silverplating used in the Ercuis flatware collections is almost double the industry standard. In addition, the company's specialized plating machinery places an extra deposit of silver on all the areas of the cutlery that get the most wear.
