Sequoia Sterling Dessert Knife

In true Art Deco spirit, our Sequoia flatware calls to mind the lavish hotels of the 1930’s. Each piece of Ercuis sterling silver cutlery is marked with two patterns: the "poincon de maitre" (or master's mark) with the Ercuis initials inside of a diamond shape, and the French state's head of Minerva, which ensures that the pieces are crafted using 925 (first quality) silver and that they are made in France. Five-piece setting includes dinner knife, dinner fork, place spoon, salad fork, and teaspoon.





Since 1867, Ercuis has produced fine silverware used in embassies, yachts, and luxury hotels around the world. Founded by a French priest, Adrien Céleste Pillon, Ercuis originally created silver items for use in church services. The factory quickly branched out into dinnerware and silverware for royal houses as well. Today, Ercuis carries on the tradition through the works of craftsmen who care about quality, detail and passion. At 63 microns, the silverplating used in the Ercuis flatware collections is almost double the industry standard. In addition, the company's specialized plating machinery places an extra deposit of silver on all the areas of the cutlery that get the most wear.
