







Created in the 1970s for an Arab prince who was building a palace in the desert. In the center of this palace there was a rose garden visible through the windows of the dining rooms. This dinnerware collection was meant to bring the riches of the garden indoors.
In 1924, Robert Haviland collaborated with Camille Parlon to form Robert Haviland and C. Parlon. Robert Haviland was from a family with a long history in the porcelain business and was able to maintain the quality that his family was known for. The company produces its fine porcelain in Limoges, a French town well known for this coveted material.
