Clear glass is lowered into a pre-mould lined with coloured solid glass rods, fusing them together. The fused gather is encased in another layer of clear glass and mouth blown into a mould. This blowing process expands the striped gather, resulting in an organic form with a distinctive pattern. No two vessels will ever be the same ensuring each object is unique. The natural wooden lid is shaped from ash. The wood is sourced from sustainably-managed European forests and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
Handwash in warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth. Clean the wood with a soft brush or damp cloth. Do not leave immersed in water or place in a dishwasher. Allow to dry naturally. Treat with a food safe oil if desired, or leave to colour naturally.
