Description
Edged in 22K gold, Mottahedeh's Imperial Blue dinnerware is based on a Chinese export porcelain pattern, circa 1730. The elegant design features a central flowered medallion, continuous collar and floral sprays. Since the Ming Dynasty, imperial blue and white porcelains have been prized by collectors and connoisseurs around the world. Five piece place setting includes dinner plate, salad plate, bread & butter plate, tea cup and saucer.
A favorite with brides, Mottahedeh specializes in luxurious patterns and unique, elegant shapes that are reproduced from china found in museums and historical societies. The patterns feature complex and vibrant colors, and hand-painted gold decoration. The pieces are surprisingly fresh and timely, and look wonderful in both contemporary and traditional dining rooms.

Care: Dishwasher safe. We recommend hand-washing for oversize and decorative pieces or pieces with gold or platinum decoration. Items with metallic decoration should not be microwaved.
