Diamante bedding is adorned with a narrow satin ribbon threaded through the center of an Italian cotton macramé lace border. Finished with dainty hemstitching. The lace is inset into soft Egyptian cotton sheets. Sheets, pillowcases and pillow shams have flanged edges. Duvet covers have knife edges and gathered bed skirts have plain hems. Fitted sheets are plain from the Giotto collection.
Established in 1891, Sferra began in Italy as a purveyor of fine Italian lace to the discerning clientele who frequented the grand seaside resorts in the East Coast of the United States. Later, the company expanded to include damasks from Ireland, French Alencon lace, and embroideries from Belgium and Switzerland. Today, Sferra is one of the most respected and innovative brands of luxury bed, bath, and table linens in the United States.
