This bar and glassware collection is set apart by its clean, simple lines and majestic curves. There are no superfluous extravagances to mar the natural allure of the glass. From its wide, flowing rim to its slightly narrower, yet weighty base, the Ascutney Barware is a beguiling rendition of an everyday functional item.
At Simon Pearce, fine glassware is still hand-blown in the traditional style. Simon Pearce opened his first glassblowing shop in 1971 in Kilkenny, Ireland. Ten years later, the factory was moved to Quechee, Vermont, where it remains today. The Ottauquechee River provides clean, hydroelectric power for the facility. All Simon Pearce items are proudly made in the U.S.A.
