Old St. Nick Bud Vase

Maestro artisan, Alessandro Taddei, relays childhood memories of stories his mother used to read to him about Babbo Natale, Italy’s Santa Claus, through the whimsical design of the Old St. Nick Bud Vase providing us a glimpse into daily adventures leading up to each holiday season.

Since 1983, Vietri has specialized exclusively in Italian handcrafted ceramics, stainless and pewter flatware, mouth blown glassware, lamps, urns and planters. Families of artisans with 3 or 4 generations of history create these special pieces using centuries-old techniques. The subtle color from a paintbrush and the curving stroke of the artist's hand are never repeated in quite the same way, making each piece truly unique.
